Life Changes
Life changes can be hard. Last year, my military family had another big life change, we were once again uprooted and sent to live in North Carolina.

As Catholic moms it can be difficult to add consistent devotional time to our day. I promise you that if you can schedule time daily and make it nonnegotiable, it will be life changing.
We can use this time to reflect upon where our focus should be…..and for me and my family it is by coming together in prayer and in our faith in God.
I thought I would share what five weeks in lockdown with my husband, four children and dog have taught me:
The words…”I appreciate you” have a lot of power. When people feel appreciated then they feel good about themselves. It makes people happy to make other people happy.
Merry Christmas, I hope your day is filled with joy and love…..and that you get to relax a little. Enjoy! ♥Criona
When my husband gets reassigned, I, as the military spouse, also get reassigned along with my children and my dog. We have very few options……we must go with him, because he is what is known as our “sponsor” and also we love him and want to be with him.
I was a fantastic mother before I ever had a kid, believe me…. In my naivety I thought I knew what I would and would not allow or accept from my perfect child.
So in the last 2-3 years I accidentally gained about 30 extra pounds. Strange how that happens…….. right????
I do not know much…..everyday gives me a new lesson. We can read all the books about love languages and relationship rescues, but nothing can teach us more than time spent in the thick of it. I have been married for almost 15 years and this is what I have learned so far.
